Night shift work was associated with a 29 increased risk of becoming obese or overweight in particular abdominal obesity than other obesity types. Permanent night workers had a higher risk than rotating shift workers. These observations from a meta analysis has been published October 4 2017 in the journal Obesity Reviews.
